After Snowflake imprinted on Kylie, he had to be by her side no matter what. Ever since Kylie’s parents brought the duckling home, the two have been inseparable.
“I’m his mom,” Kylie said in an interview CBS News.
“You’re not really his mom,” her mother replied.
Kylie was firm. “Yep, I’m his mom.”
“He goes everywhere that ducks are allowed and almost everywhere they’re not allowed,” said Kylie’s father.
At first, Kylie’s parents did not allow Snowflake in the house. Soon however, he became one of the only “house ducks” you’ll ever meet. He waits for Kylie at the bus stop every stay and even attends her soccer practices.
“I don’t know if you’ve ever had a 2-year-old or a 4-year-old that wouldn’t leave home without its blanky — she would not leave home without her duck. And at that point, nothing is negotiable.”
