“It has rained all across Chiquitanía and our satellite no longer shows any active forest fires,” a Santa Cruz region authority said.

The flames activated mass dissents against the ecological arrangements of President Evo Morales.

Several thousands showed against the president on Friday.

The earth priest of Santa Cruz territory, Cinthia Asín, said that firemen would keep on observing the region for an additional 24 hours to ensure none of the bursts would reignite.
