Earlier this week, an Oregon man told the nation an incredible story about how he survived five days in the wilderness by eating nothing but Taco Bell’s Fire sauce. Now, Taco Bell is giving him free food for a year along with all the hot sauce he wants.

Jeremy Taylor was discovered in rural Oregon last week after missing for five days. He had apparently gone off-roading in the snow when his vehicle became stuck. Taylor was unable to walk away from his vehicle due to the depth of the snow. He decided it would be best to stay with his vehicle and wait to be rescued.

A couple of snowmobile riders eventually noticed Taylor and his dog, Ally, in the car and contacted authorities. When police questioned Taylor about his time in the wilderness, he claimed to have kept himself and his dog alive by eating three hot sauce packets and occasionally turning on his vehicle to star the heater.

Taco Bell decided to give Taylor “a well-deserved” care package after his frigid ordeal. “We’re very glad Jeremy and Ally are okay. We know our sauce packets are amazing, but this takes it to a whole new level,” Taco Bell said in a statement to the local newspaper.
