Kraft gives free groceries to families affected by shutdown

Have a valid government ID? Take home a free bag of groceries on Kraft.

The internationally-known food company announced Tuesday it would open a temporary storefront in Washington, D.C. from January 16 to January 20. Here, government workers affected by the shutdown can take home a free bag of groceries filled with Kraft products.

During the government shutdown, parents should not have to worry about putting dinner on the table because they aren’t receiving a paycheck

Sergio Eleuterio, Head of Marketing at Kraft

Included in each of the grocery bags is perhaps Kraft’s most popular item, their beloved macaroni and cheese.
